We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated LPN or RN to lead and direct our caregiving team. The ideal candidate will provide assistance to residents in a beautiful assisted living environment. Experience:
- MUST HOLD A KENTUCKY LICENSE FOR LPN OR RN
- Proficiency in communication
- Ability to perform caregiving tasks with empathy and patience
- Experience with employee scheduling
- Strong organizational/ technology skills
POSITION SUMMARY
Assumes primary responsibility for coordinating the Care and service to our residents on a 24 hour/7-day week basis. Participates in creating Functional Needs Assessments/Level of Care, Service Planning/Task Schedules, as well as renewal and maintenance of these plans. Conduct assessments whether on site or off to determine appropriate placement. Recommends care and service goals and assists in their implementation. Works with the Executive Director to supervise, oversee and coordinate the work of Resident Care Specialists to meet Resident needs. Provides oversight of Resident needs and ensures all training of Resident Care Specialists is completed in a thorough and timely manner. Works with Executive Director to ensure all regulatory requirements are in place and a comprehensive safety plan is adhered to. Works closely with residents and their families to ensure their care needs are addressed in accordance with the mission, established policies, procedures, and guidelines of Arcadia Senior Living.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly supervises the Resident Care Specialists/Med Tech/Aide, LPN’s (if applicable) and based upon the staffing model of the community. Director is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of staff or volunteers in the Resident Care and Wellness Department. Director carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Arcadia policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work, scheduling staff, appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
Candidate must be willing to take call for community emergencies and scheduling issues.
Candidates must be able to pass drug screen and criminal background check.
