We are looking for a dependable and skilled Pharmacy Technician to work in our busy, full-service dispensary. This position requires a commitment to providing customers with convenient and professional service, as the ideal candidate will be responsible for handling prescription drug orders from both walk-in customers. The ideal candidate will also be comfortable working in an environment that asks for dedication and precision on a daily basis. Attention to detail is a must!
Responsibilities:
- Administer prescribed drugs to patients and help patients understand how to use those drugs.
- Answer any questions that patients may have about the medications they are taking.
- Maintain cleanliness of pharmacy department and facility.
- Operate pharmacy computer systems, including computerized systems for inventory control, billing, and prescription tracking.
- Order and maintain inventory of pharmacy supplies.
- Stock pharmacy supplies, equipment, and machines.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 24 per week
