What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Branch Manager position at ROBINS FINANCIAL CREDIT UNION?
What You’ll Do:
- Assists members on a daily basis with member service transaction requests, to include account opening, loan requests and teller transactions.
- Ensures branch meets or exceeds loan production goals with minimal processing errors and policy violations serving as a senior lender in the branch.
- Ensures branch meets or exceeds new account goals, both consumer and business, with minimal processing errors and policy violations.
- Ensures that additional products and services are provided to members to meet or exceed cross-sell goals and increase member product penetration.
- Directs and coordinates branch staff to ensure WOW member experience standards are achieved by promoting a positive member service culture.
- Assists Branch Manager in maintaining a highly motivated, well-trained staff, by assisting and providing input with all functions of H/R management within the branch including employee counseling sessions, regular coaching, Performance Appraisals, etc.
- Leads by example demonstrating initiative, dependability, positive attitude, good attendance record, and teamwork. Makes sound decisions and is able to resolve problems/conflict effectively.
- Responsible for the overall daily operation of the branch in the absence of the Branch Manager. Ensures that all requirements for fully servicing member requests are in place, to include but not limited to appropriate staffing, proper cash management, and communicating information to staff effectively and in a timely manner. Responsible for ensuring all control and security measures are in place and adhered to accordingly.
- Ensures branch staff operates consistently within Robins Financial policies and procedures, state and federal laws and NCUA regulations to include favorable internal and external audits.
