The Accounts Payable (AP) Supervisor collaborates with the Sr. AP Manager and Assistant Controller in overseeing all activities related to the AP function, including recording, analyzing, and reporting of financial information. The AP Supervisor is responsible for managing the daily duties of the AP staff and processes.

The Accounts Payable (AP) Supervisor collaborates with the Sr. AP Manager and Assistant Controller in overseeing all activities related to the AP function, including recording, analyzing, and reporting of financial information. The AP Supervisor is responsible for managing the daily duties of the AP staff and processes.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY: (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job)
- Management of AP staff to ensure timely and accurate accounting of AP and job cost
- Assist Assistant Controller in month end closing and financial reporting process including account analysis and reconciliation
- Analyze AP metrics, including cash management of jobs, and collaborate with Sr. AP Manager and Assistant Controller on results
- Manage weekly check runs by payment terms and ensure proper approvals
- Manage vendor relationships and adherence to document requirements including annual 1099 reporting
- Assist in managing operational data and ensuring data integrity and accuracy
- Assist with financial statement and job audits as necessary
- Assist in special projects as necessary
- B.S. degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- 5 years of accounts payable experience with increasing levels of responsibility, previous experience managing multiple staff persons, and preferably, Construction & Engineering industry experience.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Advance knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Word, Adobe PDF, Experience with Construction Accounting software (Timberline a plus).
- Working knowledge of Procore and SAP Concur a plus
