Lead Painter/Foreman

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in painting and construction, with the ability to manage projects effectively while ensuring high-quality results. As a Lead Painter, you will supervise painting crews, coordinate project schedules, and ensure that all work meets our quality standards. This role requires proficiency in construction management software and the ability to read blueprints and specifications.

Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead painting crews on various construction sites.
- Manage project scheduling to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine project requirements.
- Conduct quality control checks to maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Utilize construction management software for project tracking and reporting.
- Estimate materials and labor costs for painting projects.
- Collaborate with other trades on-site to ensure smooth workflow.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment at all times.

Requirements
- Proven experience in painting with a strong understanding of techniques and materials.
- Familiarity with construction management software is preferred.
- Ability to supervise teams effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings.
- Strong skills in project scheduling and quality control processes.
- Knowledge of construction estimating practices is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are essential.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions on construction sites.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• No nights
• No weekends
• Weekends only

Experience:

• Construction: 1 year (Required)
• Construction painting: 4 years (Required)
• Interior / exterior painting: 3 years (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Holden, MO 64040: Relocate before starting work (Required)
