Job Overview
The primary purpose of the Maintenance Mobile Mechanic is to troubleshoot, repair and maintain all mobile equipment to ensure production continuity and efficiency. Duties may involve troubleshooting electrical & mechanical systems on mobile equipment. In addition, assist in maintenance welding; carpentry; repairing electrical or mechanical equipment; installing, aligning, and balancing new equipment; and general building repair and maintenance.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES (included but not limited to)
This position does not have any leadership responsibilities.
Travel Requirements
This position may be required to drive to all Robinson facilities (De Pere and Manitowoc).

Job Overview
The primary purpose of the Maintenance Mobile Mechanic is to troubleshoot, repair and maintain all mobile equipment to ensure production continuity and efficiency. Duties may involve troubleshooting electrical & mechanical systems on mobile equipment. In addition, assist in maintenance welding; carpentry; repairing electrical or mechanical equipment; installing, aligning, and balancing new equipment; and general building repair and maintenance.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES (included but not limited to)
- Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including vehicles, trailers, scissor lifts, and forklifts.
- Troubleshoot equipment or operational issues and assist team members with repairs, lubrication, and general maintenance.
- Support equipment installation, relocation, and preparation.
- Conduct inspections, testing, and part replacements as needed.
- Operate lifting equipment such as cranes and scissor lifts.
- Maintain records, order supplies, and plan work procedures.
- Perform general maintenance, including cleaning and facility upkeep.
- Education: high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Experience: One – three years of mobile mechanic experience required. Prior exposure to metal fabrication or manufacturing is preferred.
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatic systems, and understanding of equipment drawings/schematics is required.
