What are the responsibilities and job description for the EHS Manager (Harbor 2 - Corp Office) position at Robinson Pharma?
The EHS Manager is responsible for the overall management and maintenance of the
company’s physical facilities and EHS programs in compliance with dietary supplement regulations,
cGMPs, OSHA, EPA and SOPs. Conducts safety meetings, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance. Plans, implements, and conducts preventative care, safety, and compliance training programs.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Maintains a strong understanding of enacted environmental, health, and safety regulations impacting the company and its employees in general.
- Ensures facility compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations by accurate reporting, training documentation/recordkeeping and plant operation within all appropriate license and permit requirements.
- Investigates accidents, first aid, and near miss cases to determine root cause(s) and corrective actions.
- Conducts various mandatory, awareness level and best practice safety training classes for plant and
office personnel; conducts monthly safety meetings; conducts new hire safety training. - Prepares and submits various environmental compliance reports, and permits (new and revised).

- Supports Quality & HR staff during internal audits, third-party audits, or regulatory agency inspections.
- Manages and supervises all facility maintenance and janitorial staff; provides staff with direction on workloads and responsibilities.
- Implements reactive and preventive maintenance activities appropriately; monitors current and deferred maintenance and janitorial backlogs; adjust priorities and/or as needed to ensure that maintenance and janitorial actions are adequately documented.
- Accountable for the proper performance, review, and documentation of area SOPs, equipment and facility preventive maintenance as assigned by the maintenance leader or supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Prefer a two-year college degree or higher in an applicable field related to science, occupational health, engineering or business administration.
- 5-7 years of relevant work experience.
- Working knowledge of cGMPs, FDA, OSHA and EPA regulations. Strong documentation skills related to Good Documentation Practices, including the ability to edit and proof
- documents.
- Strong proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good management and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.
- Ability to prioritize work and multi-task.
