ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follow Laser Operator Work Instructions as it defines the responsibilities of the laser operator in producing a quality part.
- Ability to operate sheet lifters and forklifts to load and unload material from machines.
- Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
- Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturing instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; contacting Operations Manager(s) for repairs
- Communicates effectively among work shifts by relaying workload, irregularities, and production needs.
- Work with material handlers to keep material and parts flowing thru the laser area in an effective / safe manner.
- Take measurements accurately using various measurement tools.
- Maintaining equipment and supplies.
- Ability to work OT with little notice when required.
