Your team will initially focus on building a self-served, exa-byte scale Data Platform for batch data processing, and will eventually expand to include real time data processing. Encourage trying new approaches, learning from each other, and embracing pioneering technologies.You Have : Proven Leadership : Demonstrated experience leading and scaling engineering teams, ideally in a high-growth environment.Experience in engineering management for at least 2 years, including setting roadmap, charter, vision, and important metrics for the engineering team.Technical Expertise : Deep understanding of data principles, architectures, and technologies.8 years of experience with big data tools and technologies like Spark, Flink, optimized Sql, Map Reduce, HDFS, HiveExperience with programming languages like Python, Golang, Java, Helm, TerraformExperience working with Cloud providers like AWS - S3, EMR, EKSA Computer Science or related degree BS or MS graduateRoblox Alignment : Strong alignment with Roblox's leadership principles, including a focus on respect, safety, creativity, and community.Excellent Communication : Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
