ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop industrial solutions for robotics systems, balancing functionality, manufacturability, and user experience.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical, electrical, and AI components into cohesive hardware designs.Create and refine 3D models, prototypes, and production-ready designs using tools like Solidworks, Fusion360, Blender, Rhino, or similar platforms.Partner with domestic and international manufacturing partners, including Chinese suppliers, to ensure quality and scalability.Conduct usability testing and iterate designs to meet user needs and production requirements.Ensure compliance with industry standards and incorporate human factors into design decisions.Minimum Qualifications
5 years of experience in industrial design, ideally with a focus on robotics, hardware, or IoT devices.Strong expertise in manufacturing processes, including metal / plastic fabrication, machining, and integrated assembly.Proficiency in CAD modeling, rendering, and creating detailed manufacturing drawings.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly present designs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Preferred Qualifications
A portfolio showcasing end-to-end design processes for hardware or robotics products, from ideation to production.Knowledge of safety and compliance standards for robotic systems.Familiarity with human factors and designing ergonomic solutions.Hands-on experience with prototyping and testing hardware designs.
