We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Designer to join our team. The successful candidate should have engineering experience in a fast-paced environment like startups and background with a degree in a relevant engineering field from a college or university. The role will require a high level of understanding and experience in Mechanical Engineering and product lifecycle, of electromechanical systems. Involvement will be from the design stage through to the final product and will span across various departments within the company.
Responsibilities
- Design, build and test prototypes
- Work with Industrial design on making ideas and concept designs into manufacturable parts
- Work alongside the manufacturing team to ensure quality, timely delivery, and cost objectives are achieved
- Inspect and verify incoming parts for compliance with the design
- Maintain design and documentation for existing products
- Understand / monitor cost and schedule
- Assist in the first production builds
- Support sustaining work
