CORPORATE NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR

Job Details: Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer networks within the organization. Involves managing both wired and wireless networks, ensure connectivity, security, and optimal performance. Collaborates with other members of the IT teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to troubleshoot issues, implement upgrades, and deploy new technologies

Preferred Requirements: 

• Excellent knowledge of industry best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure
• Proficiency in network hardware, software, and protocols
• Knowledge of network monitoring tools and security technologies

Required Education/ Experience/ Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 3-5 years experience in a network administrator role
• 3-5 years experience in networking, routing, and switching
• Experience with firewalls, Internet VPN’s remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution
• Proven ability to set up and configure server hardware

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Fully support, configure, maintain and upgrade corporate networks and in house servers/ computers
• Install and integrate new server hardware and applications
• Evaluate network infrastructure components, performances, and capacity making recommendations for upgrades or adjustments to support organization growth
• Ensure network security and connectivity
• Monitor network performance ( availability, utilization throughput, goodput, and latency) and test for weaknesses
• Set up user accounts, permissions, and passwords
• Resolve problems reports by end users
• Define network policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides
• Specify system requirements and design solutions
• Research and make recommendation on server system administration
