What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Supervisor 2nd Shift position at Robroy Industries?
You will have a variety of responsibilities including:
- Provide on the plant floor support and leadership to the team to meet production goals and customer quality expectations. 80% of the time on the production floor.
- Utilize multiple software systems to produce production reports, hot lists, analyze information and determine order of work to be completed
- Fully understand the production process and logistics to appropriately plan and anticipate production and staffing needs
- Coordinate communication with team members, operation shift managers and company leadership
- Train, coach and support team members

Effectively train, communicate, coach and develop your team
Provided day-to-day leadership for all activities on your shift and communicate effectively with shift supervisors, operations leaders and division leaders
Work with scheduling and logistics to ensure achievement of daily production and quality goals
Ensure team members are accountable to safety, production, quality and policies and procedures
To be a team player
Improve metrics through identifying opportunities for improvements.
Communicate company news and issues to team members
Drive efficiency, standards and ensure all processes and procedures are followed
Lead projects
Be a safety champion and be accountable that your team is trained and prioritizing safety daily
Work with team to accomplish goals, accountable for shift performance

Requirements include:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Associates or Bachelors’ Degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years manufacturing leadership experience
- ISO knowledge and experience helpful
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple requests while maintaining a culture of accountability and execution
- Strong Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP software skills
