NURSING HOME ADMINISTRATOR

DESCRIPTION :
We seek a Nursing Home Administrator with broad administrative and operational experience to provide investigation, analysis, reports and testimony where technical and scientific answers are needed to help resolve civil litigation and insurance claims.
Competencies should include decision making, knowledge of the operations and administration of care and / or long-term care communities, including : standards; protocols; safe practices; supervision of direct care and professional personnel; and, standard of care in the industry.
Location : Nationwide
Requirements :
- Licensed Director of Nursing Home preferred
- Registered Nurse
- Extensive clinical knowledge of wound care, pressure ulcers and sores, and wound prevention
- Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) Certification
- Experience in Nursing Home or Long-Term Care Residential Facility
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Master’s or Ph.D. highly preferred
- Teaching experience preferred
- Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a comprehensive team
- Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills
- Willing to travel about 20% on average
