What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cigar Attendant position at Robusto by Havana Mix?
Job Duties
- Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with the mission of Burning Desire Cigar Emporium.
- Present assortment options to guests and answer questions.
- Explain to guests how various items are prepared by describing the ingredients and taste.
- Inform guests of assortment changes and new arrivals, and make recommendations you genuinely feel your guests will enjoy.
- Assist with guest desire cut on selected cigar.
- Prepare checks that itemize total of all purchases.
- Collect payments from guests.
- Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return.
- Clean tables or counters after guests have finished.
- Assist host or hostess by answering phones to take reservations or to-go orders, and by greeting, seating, and thanking guests. (if applicable)
- Replenish all sold items.
- Perform cleaning duties, such as sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming carpet, tidying up cigar area, taking out trash, or checking and cleaning bathroom.
- Attend all scheduled employee meetings and offers suggestions for improvement.
- Fill-in for fellow employees where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.

- Cash registers, Point-of-sale terminals, POS software, and workstations
- Credit card processing machines
- Personal computers, tablets, smart phones and/or handheld devices
- Software - Office suite, web-based applications, etc.
- Commercial use cutlery
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
