What are the responsibilities and job description for the Linux Administrator position at ROBUSTWARE INC?
Mandatory Qualifications; 6 years’ experience in Linux system administration, with a focus on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL). A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or an equivalent field from an accredited institution is required. Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications;
- 6 years’ experience in Linux system administration, with a focus on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
- 6 years’ experience with installing, configuring, and maintaining enterprise applications such as Apache, Tomcat, MoveIt, and others.
- 6 years’ experience in VMware vSphere administration (vCenter, ESXi, vLCM).
- 6 years’ experience with file systems (NFS, CIFS, XFS), Red Hat Samba, and Linux authentication (LDAP, Kerberos, AD integration).
- 6 years’ experience creating and utilizing automation scripts (Bash, Perl, PowerShell) to optimize and streamline system tasks.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, IAM, etc.)

Pay: $48.01 - $60.86 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
