Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in Installation: Work alongside experienced electricians to install electrical systems, wiring, and components in accordance with electrical codes and specifications.
- Maintenance and Repair: Learn to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems and equipment. Assist in diagnosing and fixing electrical issues promptly.
- Blueprint Reading: Develop the ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
- Material Handling: Assist in the procurement, handling, and organization of electrical materials, tools, and equipment required for projects.
- Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Learn and adhere to industry-specific safety standards.
- Conduit Installation: Gain hands-on experience in installing conduits, cable trays, and raceways to organize and protect electrical wiring.
- Testing and Inspection: Assist in conducting tests on electrical systems and components to ensure proper functionality. Learn to identify and resolve issues during inspections.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including logs, reports, and documentation related to electrical installations and repairs
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members, contractors, and project managers to complete electrical projects efficiently.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and advancements in electrical technology. Attend training sessions and classes to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of electrical concepts and principles.
- Ability to work in a team and follow instructions.
- Good communication skills.
- Physical fitness and ability to work in various conditions.
- Will need basic electrical hand tools and a battery drill.
