Job Title: Program Manager – ROC ROYAL Youth Programs

Location: Rochester, NY

Position Type: Parttime/ Full-Time

Job Summary:

ROC ROYAL INC is seeking an experienced and dynamic Program Manager to lead and oversee our Youth Programs. This role is responsible for the strategic planning, implementation, and evaluation of afterschool and community-based programs. The Program Manager will supervise program staff, ensure compliance with policies and standards, and foster partnerships to enhance program quality and sustainability. This position is ideal for a highly organized leader with a passion for youth development and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:Program Leadership & Development:

·      Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of youth programs, ensuring alignment with ROC ROYAL’s mission and goals.

·      Develop and implement curriculum and activities that promote academic support, social-emotional learning, leadership, and recreation.

·      Monitor program effectiveness through data collection, reporting, and continuous improvement strategies.

·      Ensure all program activities adhere to safety and quality standards.

Staff Supervision & Training:

·      Recruit, hire, train, and supervise Site Coordinators, Youth Specialists, and support staff.

·      Conduct regular staff meetings, performance evaluations, and professional development opportunities.

·      Foster a collaborative and positive team culture that prioritizes staff engagement and growth.

Community & Stakeholder Engagement:

·      Serve as the primary point of contact for parents, guardians, school administrators, and community partners.

·      Develop partnerships with schools, local organizations, and stakeholders to expand program impact.

·      Represent ROC ROYAL INC at community events, meetings, and outreach initiatives.

Program Administration & Compliance:

·      Manage program budgets, grants, and financial reporting, ensuring compliance with funding requirements.

·      Oversee data collection and documentation for program attendance, outcomes, and evaluations.

·      Ensure all staff adhere to organizational policies, safety procedures, and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications:

·      Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Work, Youth Development, or a related field

·      Minimum 3-5 years of experience in youth programming, community outreach, or nonprofit management.

·      Proven experience in staff supervision, program planning, and budget management.

·      Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

·      Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

·      Knowledge of child development principles, trauma-informed practices, and youth engagement strategies.

·      CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

Additional Requirements:

·      Must pass a background check and have a clear criminal record.

·      Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

·      Physical ability to participate in activities, including bending, lifting, and extended periods of standing.
