Job Title: IT Manager – Security
Location: Onsite in Montgomery, AL
Job Description: The IT Manager – Security is responsible for leading the IT Security Department, overseeing the implementation and management of cybersecurity solutions to protect organizational systems from cyber threats. This role provides strategic guidance to the CISO and CIO on security policies and risk management, while also managing the department’s budget and financial planning. The IT Manager I collaborates with other IT teams to ensure secure network operations and compliance with industry standards. This position reports to the CISO and IT Director and requires occasional travel.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the implementation and management of IT security solutions.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate cybersecurity risks and threats.
• Research and apply industry best practices, compliance standards, and legal regulations.
• Develop budget forecasts and manage department financials.
• Execute tasks and initiatives directed by the CISO and IT Director.
• Collaborate with IT departments to ensure secure infrastructure and systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Strong analytical and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• CISM or CISSP certifications
• Proficiency in Palo Alto firewall solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of Azure security solutions, including Data Loss Prevention and Conditional Access Policies.
• Familiarity with firewalls, SD-WAN, and endpoint protection
