RoCA is a lively and upscale restaurant and cocktail bar located in the heart of downtown Des Moines. We pride ourselves on delivering expertly crafted cocktails, a chef-driven menu, and an inviting atmosphere. We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team and provide an exceptional experience for our guests.
Job Responsibilities
- Craft and serve a variety of signature and classic cocktails, as well as beer and wine.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, welcoming, and professional manner.
- Verify customer identification and ensure responsible alcohol service.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak hours.
- Follow all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous bar experience preferred but not required—we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, beer, and wine is a plus.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $8.50 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
