Job Summary
Rocco’s Ristorante is a brand-new fine Italian dining experience opening this summer, and we are seeking motivated, dedicated, and enthusiastic Servers to join our family-owned establishment. We hold ourselves to the highest standards of excellence in both cuisine and service, and we’re looking for team members who share our passion for creating unforgettable guest experiences. As a Server at Rocco’s, you will be the face of our restaurant—greeting and serving guests, anticipating their needs, and contributing to the warm, welcoming atmosphere that defines our family heritage.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests with a friendly, family-oriented attitude, making them feel right at home.
• Present menus and knowledgeably guide guests through our food and beverage offerings.
• Accurately take orders and coordinate with the kitchen using systems such as Toast, ensuring each dish meets our fine dining standards.
• Serve food and beverages promptly with impeccable attention to presentation and detail.
• Process payments and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
• Proactively monitor guest satisfaction, addressing any questions, concerns, or special requests.
• Collaborate closely with the kitchen/managers to ensure seamless, timely service.
• Maintain a pristine dining environment, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
• Assist with light food preparation during peak hours or special events.

Experience & Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is required.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables without compromising exceptional service.
• Basic math skills to accurately process cash and card transactions.
• Familiarity with culinary terms, food preparation techniques, and fine dining etiquette is beneficial.
• Experience with restaurant management software (e.g., Toast, OpenTable) is a plus, but not mandatory.

Pay: From $2.83 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
