Rocco's Doughnut Company was founded and launched with a BANG in the spring of 2018. We have quickly grown to three locations throughout the greater Worcester area with strong ambitions for continued growth. We are a specialty doughnut bakery creating some of the tastiest and best looking doughnuts around. Our brand has caught both local and national attention and is something that we work very hard to continue to build upon. We have a 'can't stop won't stop' mentality and are looking for like minded individuals to join our Doughnut Team.

THE JOB:

Rocco's Bakers are responsible for the preparation tasks and production in order to make our base doughnuts. This consists of mixing, cutting, proofing, and frying the dough. The bakers work directly with our Production Manager. Bakers will receive all direction and quantities each day from the Production Manager. Bakers must be extremely hardworking, teachable, and easy going. Our training is structured so that you will gain the product knowledge needed to succeed in this role. This is not a customer facing role.

REQUIREMENTS-

DESIRED TRAITS:

-Previous Kitchen or bakery experience is a plus but not required, we will teach you the ropes!
-Ability to lift up to 50lbs 
-Tuesday- Saturday availability a must
-Ability to work late night/early morning shifts 
-Ability to follow SOP's set by store and Production Manager 
-Ability to stand in a position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours) 
-Friendly attitude & team player
-Punctual and reliable 
-Driven individual who enjoys being apart of a close working team 
-Highly adaptive and willing to work hard
-Kitchen experience is a plus   

DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES (not limited to)
 -Preparation and production of our doughnuts (Mixing, cutting, proofing, frying) 
-Operate manual and automatic machinery
-Ensure maintenance of equipment and tools used daily and report any issues to Production Manager promptly 
-Unload/Load Rocco's inventory and supplies from Rocco's transport vehicles 
-Properly clean and organize work station daily 
-Wash dishes and equipment 
-Take out trash and cardboard recyclables
-Other duties not listed related to kitchen prep, and clean up
