Are you passionate about ensuring every student receives the support they need to thrive? We are looking for a dedicated Secondary SENDCo to join our team and lead the provision for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
This role sits within our leadership structure, reporting to the Assistant Headteacher for Additional Needs. As SENDCo, you will play a vital role in shaping and delivering outstanding SEND provision across the school, ensuring all students can access a high-quality, inclusive education.

- Leading SEND provision across the school and ensuring compliance with the SEND Code of Practice
- Managing and developing a team of Teaching Assistants and support staff
- Collaborating with teachers to embed inclusive teaching strategies
- Working closely with parents, carers, and external agencies to secure the best outcomes for students
- Ensuring high-quality EHCP implementation and reviewing processes
- A qualified teacher (QTS) with experience working with SEND students
- Ideally, the National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCo) or NPQ SENDCo (or willingness to complete within three years)
- Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and best practices
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to support staff and engage families
- A commitment to inclusion and ensuring every student reaches their full potential
