The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location for this position of Indiana is $23.00 - $28.00 per hour. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. - Providing specialist expertise: Underpinning everything is the ongoing mastery of the basics of Finance
The Opportunity
- Assist in financial analysis and forecasting in expense, headcount, inventory and capital expenditure to support strategic decision-making processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and provide insights for budgeting and planning purposes
- Conduct research on market trends, industry competitors, and emerging opportunities to support financial analysis
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, presentations, and documentation
- Contribute to the optimization of financial processes and systems
- Collaborate with senior finance professionals to learn and apply financial principles and best practices
- Support ad-hoc finance projects as assigned, providing valuable contributions to the team
- Intensive 12-weeks, full time (40 hours per week) paid internship
- Program start dates are in May/June (Summer)
- A stipend, based on location, will be provided to help alleviate costs associated with the internship.
- Ownership of challenging and impactful business-critical projects
- Work with some of the most talented people in the biotechnology industry
Required Education:
- Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree (enrolled student)
Required skills:
- You completed at least 2 years of college/university.
- Must have a GPA of at least 3.0
- Strong financial analysis foundations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Growth-minded, curious learner that finds accomplishment in dealing with reduction of complexity, simplification and unexplored paths.
