The Position
Primary Purpose Of Job (Job Summary)
- Mainly work with data scientist to support biomarker/clinical data analysis from research studies to understand biomarker prevalence, treatment efficacy, statistical modeling, etc
- Public data mining to understand the functions of genes of interest and support manuscript preparation of research study
- Help TM China team to manage biomarker data, establish NGS pipelines
Support stand-alone research and clinical trials
- Support data analysis by the design of biomarker leader and help summarize and interpret the results
- Support public data mining to understand the functions of the interested genes
- Support manuscript writing and journal submission
- Data acquisition and access control
- make summarized experiment files for biomarker and clinical data; establish NGS pipelines (RNA-seq, WES, Methylation, etc.)
Education/Qualification
- Master’s degree or above major in in a relevant scientific field (e.g. bioinformatics, genetics, genomics, computational science, computational biology)
- Proactive, self-driven and highly professional
- Logical and efficient with highly compliance
- Be willing to learn, think and practice
- Good teamwork ability and communication skills
- Strong experience in bioinformatics and computational science (R, Python, etc.)
- Pefered candidates will have certain biology background, NGS data processing
