The Position
Job Summary:
Roche CICoR is seeking a highly motivated computational chemist for an internship mainly focusing on molecular generation in drug discovery.
Qualifications:
- Master or PhD candidate in computational chemistry, cheminformatics, machine learning or related discipline
- Fluency in Python and proficiency with machine learning and cheminformatics tools such as PyTorch and RDKit
- Experience in developing generative models, ideally with a proven track record (e.g. relevant publication or public GitHub repository)
- Good written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English are required
- Ideally experience in chemical library preparation and molecular generation for small-molecule drug discovery
