The Position

As the Finance Manager (FM) for Roche Pharma in Tunisia, based in Tunis, you will be part of the Roche Pharma Tunisia & Libya Leadership Team and will report to the General Manager of Tunisia & Libya with a functional reporting line to the Finance Manager Africa.

You will be jointly accountable for the affiliate transformation, fostering an environment that promotes trust, transparency, and a customer centricity that inspires and motivates teams to develop and adopt an agile way of working. You will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial results of the affiliate, procurement, supply chain and facility services. Your financial responsibilities can be categorized as follows:

Insights:

  • Proactively identify key challenges and opportunities, assessing their impact on the organization.
  • Identify industry trends, potential business opportunities and risks; generating meaningful market insights
  • Support employees to translate data into actionable insights, contributing to the long-term sustainability of the affiliate
  • Stimulate an environment which encourages smart experimentation, rapid iterations and the ability to scale

Long-term portfolio planning and resourcing strategy:

  • Drive a simple and fit-for-purpose business planning process that captures key strategic directions
  • Formulate a local finance strategy balancing global/regional requirements with local imperatives
  • Engage with business partners in crafting and executing value enhancing decisions through business performance (actuals vs. forecast)
  • Guide the business in meeting short to long-term goals by providing relevant financial and non-financial information

Business partnership (including internal and external stakeholder management and business development):

  • In collaboration with business leaders, define the strategic direction of the organization
  • Build a strong cross-border network beyond Pharma Finance to deliver better outcomes and overcome barriers
  • Oversee the local finance & accounting function, ensuring adherence to Roche Group Accounting (FGA), local accounting standards, tax and customs. As a Production Technician, you will have key responsibilities supporting manufacturing operations either in the manufacturing, packaging, and/or product labeling areas. You will set up and operate a variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines used in the production of the company's product. You will work from process sheets or written/verbal instructions given by supervisor to perform production tasks. You will also check and inspect operation against predetermined tolerances. You will provide support to an area, person, or program. Interface with internal customers. Perform semi-routine support duties of a specialized nature within an assigned area.

You will also be responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the quality system and achieving quality objectives through daily actions.

The opportunity:

  • Maintaining material/supply needs to support production. Setting up & operating equipment and processing materials & packaging kits in accordance with standard operating procedures
  • Inspecting products and components to verify completeness of the final device and product information is precise and legible. Inspecting product for quality and adherence to specifications
  • Ensuring full compliance with both GMP and housekeeping standards within packaging area. Participating in trouble-shooting and problem solving associated with packaging process
  • Completing and ensuring accuracy of all process orders and associated required documentation, records, and metrics
  • Preparing work centers for appropriate line clearance procedure and conducting regular cleaning in accordance with standard operating procedures. May train others in department as needed

Who you are:

Minimum qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalency

Preferred qualifications:

  • 1 year of related experience in production or manufacturing assembly in a regulated industry
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. occasionally
  • Ability to have flexibility in work schedule when needed
  • Thorough understanding of the principles and applications of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ISO
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
  • Basic computer skills with competency using standard software packages
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment
  • Thorough understanding of appropriate safety procedures
  • Detail oriented

Pay transparency

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indianapolis is 43,300.00 - 80,500.00 USD Annual . Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
