The House Supervisor's responsibilities encompass compliance with The Joint Commission standards, CMS, OSHA, IDPH, Illinois Nurse Practice Act, and state regulations.

Education
- Must be a graduate of an NLN accredited School of Nursing and have current Illinois license.
- Must have a current Illinois license.
Experience
- Must be currently CPR certified with ACLS, NRP and PALS certification and previous telemetry experience desirable.
- Must be in good physical and mental health, and able to work under pressure.
- Must have good teaching and communication skills
- The ability to operate designated computer equipment.
- TNCC, TNS and ENPC preferred.
Work Environment/Physical Demands
- The ideal candidate must be able to work and complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Requires long periods of standing at times.
- Requires quick movement, agility and fast response time.
- Requires direct patient contact with potential exposure to blood and body fluids.
- Frequent repositioning of patients.
- Ability to perform CPR - a strenuous activity.
- Demonstrates the ability to work accurately and effectively in oral and written directions and communication.
- Enjoys working with people and works cooperatively with other hospital staff.
- Constant kneeling, stooping, bending, twisting and occasional need to lift patients
- Medium Lifting, generally lifting not more than 50 lbs. maximum with assistance, with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 35 lbs.
