Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our front desk and guest services team at the Rochester Airport Marriott. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to create a welcoming environment for our guests. This role is crucial in ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maintaining high standards of service within our resort.
Qualifications
- Marriott experience highly desired.
- Proven experience in hospitality management or a similar role within the resort industry.
- Strong knowledge of front desk operations, guest services, and night audit processes in a full-service hotel.
- Excellent communication skills with proficiency in multilingual or bilingual capabilities preferred.
- Exceptional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with guests from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment focused on guest satisfaction.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure in fast-paced situations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise front office staff, including receptionists and guest service agents, ensuring all duties are performed efficiently and effectively.
- Manage guest check-in and check-out processes, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Oversee night audit procedures, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with company policies.
- Maintain a high level of guest relations by fostering positive interactions and resolving any issues that may arise during their stay.
- Implement training programs for staff on hospitality best practices, phone etiquette, and customer service excellence.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination in meeting guests' needs.
- Monitor front desk operations to ensure adherence to established policies and procedures while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
- Assist in managing reservations, including handling special requests or accommodations for guests.
