Job Description
This Nurse Supervisor position plays a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our patients. As a leader on our team, you will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the assigned unit
- Developing and implementing employee policies and procedures
- Mentoring less experienced nurses and providing clinical and career guidance
- Maintaining standards of care for the unit
- Reviewing resident records and quality of care
- Monitoring overall care and reviewing individual resident cases
- Addressing questions or complaints from residents or their families
- Representing the unit's interests with upper-level management
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must hold a valid NYS RN License and have at least 2 years of long-term care experience. Preferred qualifications include 1 year of charge nurse experience and exceptional communication skills.
