Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will preferably have experience in various cleaning tasks and maintenance duties, ensuring a clean and safe environment for our children.
Duties
- Removal of all trash from hallway and bathroom areas, twice per day daily
- Sweeping all stairs, entryways, halls, bathrooms, and basement area daily
- General cleaning of bathroom spaces daily-including sinks, mirrors, toilets, and checking the soap, paper towels and toilet paper levels and refilling as needed,
- Mopping all hard surface floors once per week
- Deep cleaning all bathroom areas once per week-includes cleaning/sanitizing of all step stools and wiping down walls and doors
- Cleaning windows of entrance doors daily
- Wiping down/cleaning washer and dryer units daily
- Cleaning banisters once per week
- Vacuuming carpeted areas in the hall, staff lounge and multipurpose room once per week
- Shredding papers in office and emptying shredder as available to do so
- Communicating with the Executive Director or designee as needed or required
