Job Description:
The position exists to support clinic operations by 1) providing client support services; 2) maintaining clinic office procedures and processes; 3) managing patient and financial records.
Principle Responsibilities and Results
- Schedule patient appointment in the Dental Clinic.
- Send appointment reminders to patients.
- Greet patients and attend to patient needs prior to their appointment.
- Assist with patient appointment records and paperwork
- Collect and bill fees for services.
- Run account reports.
- Submit dental insurance claims.
- Collect and submit dentist timesheets.
- Manage patient files and send patient radiographs to dental offices.
- Maintain patient appointment records.
- Implement other clinic financial record practices.
- Perform other duties to ensure the smooth functioning of the dental departments, including Winchester Wellness, and maintain the reputation of the organization as a viable business partner.
- Conform to state, system, and College rules, including policies, procedures, contracts, regulations, laws, mandates, and Standards of Excellence Expectations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Human relations sufficient to assist customers and represent the College in a positive manner.
- Oral and written communication sufficient to assist a variety of clients.
- Knowledge of general office equipment and procedures.
Preferred Qualification
- Dental record management experience.
- Ability to function independently to carry out assigned tasks and duties.
Work Shift (Hours / Days of work)
Mon 7:30am-5:00pm, Tues 7:30am-4:30pm, Thurs 10:30am-5:00pm
- Position will temporarily end 05/15/25 then begin again 08/20/25 for academic year.
