Rochester Community Nursing and Rehabilitation Center -
Rochester Community Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is looking for a Full Time Unit Clerk!
Duties include, but not limited to the following :
- Scheduling Doctors visits for Residents
- Answering phones,faxing and accepting faxes from labs, offices and other medical facilities
- Picking up and distributing mail from Unit, as well as, collecting documents for scanning
- Updating room changes in our electronic medical record system
- Creating admission and readmission packets
- Notifying pharmacy of room / unit change
- Creating or recreating wrist bands
- Updating, filing and collating all unit documents
- Updating resident discharge information
- Assisting all Departments with projects, as needed.
Qualifications :
- HS diploma / 18 years old or older
- Basic Computer skills.
- Able to communicate in a clear, concise manner.
- Demonstrates strong public relations and organizational skills.
- Able to adapt to fast pace environment.
- Some knowledge of medical service delivery systems
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of medical terminology
- Experience providing exceptional customer service
