Job Responsibilities
- Data Collection and Interpretation for Program Reporting to support program assessment and accreditation, including for all 4201 schools and the President of NTID and Department Chair of MSSE.
Assist the Department Chair with assessment processes including; monitor, measure, and document that each student has met the program expectations; help provide plan for students who do not achieve level of performance required
Coordinate, implement and assess a comprehensive program of continuing education to support NTID students and professional educators in New York State

The National Technical Institute for the Deaf web page is located at https : / / ntid.rit.edu and the Department of Master of Science in Secondary Education (MSSE) web page is located at https : / / www.rit.edu / ntid / msse. The MS program in Secondary Education of Students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing is designed for students to earn dual certification to teach a secondary school content area for students who are hearing or deaf as well as in deaf education for grades K-12. Job Summary
The coordinator of graduate program assessment and accreditation in NTID's Department of Deaf Education will focus on graduate programs who work closely with accrediting bodies and assessment. In order to maintain quality assurance and compliance, this position will focus on ensuring all graduate programs in this department meets the criteria for accreditation. This position will work directly with the New York State Department of Education and serve as a consulting perspective for other states department of education for their teachers. This position also will provide professional development opportunities for preservice and in-service teachers in order to retain teachers in the workforce after graduation.
