Job Responsibilities
Reporting to the Assistant Director for Residence Life, the Residence Coordinator will provide leadership for a residential area of 300-500 students during the academic year. The Residence Coordinator provides student staff supervision, student support, and crisis response in service to the undergraduate and graduate residential students at the University. The Residence Coordinator Position is a 12-month live-on position.
Staff Supervision and Development
- Supervise staff of 8-16 Resident Advisors
- Provide comprehensive training & ongoing development for RA staff as part of a Center-wide training program
- Facilitate staff meetings and one-on-one meetings with the student staff
- Conduct formal performance evaluations of student staff to identify strengths and areas of improvement
- Coordinate individual goal setting and action plans with staff
