Job Responsibilities
- Perform / manage materials analysis for internal research, and for external customers, to support product failure analysis and industrial process quality improvement
- Develop enhanced laboratory capability for materials analysis, in particular non-destructive evaluation technologies
- Prepare and present / publish technical results of research
- Develop proposals for external funding
- Support expansion of existing research programs that support sustainable industrial development, with a focus on : remanufacturing, recycling, process material and energy efficiency, condition assessment and prognostics, and additive manufacturing
- Support sustainable product design efforts from materials perspective
