Job Responsibilities
The Vehicle / Equipment Mechanic performs proper diagnosis, repairs and maintenance on a variety of RIT equipment and licensed and unlicensed vehicles. Maintains consistently high standards of quality, efficiency and safety.
Schedule
- The hours for this position could be between Sun-Sat 6am-11pm based on the needs of the department.
- The Vehicle / Equipment Mechanic is considered essential personnel. This means that this person must be willing to work a flexible schedule including call-in work that could encompass various shifts, weekends, holidays, Institute emergencies, and times other than normal work schedules.
Responsibilities
Maintain and process work records of expended labor and material costs into computerized system.
