    POSITION: Part-time, .4 PTE, Spanish Immersion Teacher position - see additional information

    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This teacher will be speaking in Spanish while instructing Grade 6-8 students.
    Subjects with include English Language Arts and Social Studies.

    WORK CALENDAR:
    2025-2026 REA Calendar

    SALARY: $50,525 - $91,753/annually (prorated based upon hire date)
    Based on level of education and full years of licensed teaching experience.

    REA Contract 2023-2025

    QUALIFICATION: Current appropriate Minnesota teaching license required: Grade 5-8 or 5-12 Social Studies, Communication Arts
    RPS makes an effort to hire teachers with a full standard license in the assigned subject and/or grade level.

    Qualifications:
    Prior successful experience in urban, multicultural education desirable.
    Demonstrates continued professional development through course work, research, peer collaboration, and/or job-embedded staff development.
    Working knowledge of the subject matter, classroom management techniques, current researched best practices and strategies, as well as students' learning styles and needs, both academic and affective.
