Job Title: Provider Compensation Analyst

Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8am-4:30pm
SUMMARY
This position is a strategic partner within the health system’s enterprise that is responsible for analyzing and effectively administering provider compensation programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serves as a compensation subject matter expert to all stakeholders across the health system in HR, shared services, and service line operations.
- Conducts business analysis in partnership with operations, finance, legal, and other HR functional areas to understand business needs and maintain a competitive provider compensation structure.
- Designs and maintains spreadsheet cost models to conduct individual, service line, and/or system-wide compensation analysis and makes accurate and timely recommendations to Compensation Leadership.
- Partners with talent acquisition and service line operations on offer proposals/contract negotiations.
- Acts as a strategic compensation resource for labor spend/pay practice evaluations related to new acquisitions and reorganizations in collaboration with network development and service line operations.
- Participates in compensation surveys to collect and analyze competitive salary information relative to internal compensation pay practices.
- Responsible for maintaining and updating provider compensation databases.
- Administers contract changes and performs audits to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Responsible for maintaining job leveling and benchmarking of new and existing jobs in adherence with wage compliance guidelines.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in business-related field required or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2 years of compensation or health care operations experience preferred.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong professional written and oral communication skill.
- Strong critical thinking, quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills.
- Proficient use of HCM systems (Workday).
- Strong Excel skills.
- Healthcare administration background desired.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: S - Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
PAY RANGE: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00
