Looking for a responsible Sales Clerk to assist customers that come into our store or call on the phone. Duties include working with customers to determine their needs, answer their questions and recommend solutions. Recieve shipments and stock shelves.
Responsibilities
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent customer service
- Welcome customers to the store and answer their queries
- Maintain in-stock and presentable showroom
- Receive and check in freight
- Process POS (point of sale) purchases
- Work well with co-workers
Skills
- Willingness to learn and take direction from co-workers
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to safely lift 40 - 50 lbs
- A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus
- Foodservice experience a plus
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on food service and retail sales
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cash register operations and retail math
- Multilingual or bilingual proficiency is a plus for diverse customer interactions

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
