POSITION: Evening Nurse (RN or LPN)
TO BE FILLED BY: As soon as possible
PRIMARY
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Renders care to students who are temporarily confined to the Student Health Center due to illness
- Holds evening clinic hours for students
- Provides prescribed and over-the-counter medication to students
- Involved in incidental health teaching and counseling
- Keeps communications open between Student Health Center and Residential Program
- Assists in maintaining cumulative health records on all students
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid State License to practice as a Registered Nurse or License Practical Nurse
- Minimum of one year working experience preferred
- Fluent in American Sign Language or able to reach the Intermediate Plus rating level on the Sign Language Proficiency Interview (SLPI) within three years of hire
