School Counselor Full or Part Time

The Rochester/Stockbridge Unified School District (RSUD) serves students PreK - 6 in the communities of Rochester and Stockbridge. We are currently seeking a licensed school counselor for both Rochester Elementary School & Stockbridge Central School for the 2024-2025 school year. The ideal candidate shall possess the following: A current Vermont School Counselor certification Possess Strong interpersonal skills & work cooperatively in a team to identify needs/resources for students who require either a targeted/intensive social/emotion and/or academic intervention plan Willingness to sustain a positive school climate for relevant & purposeful learning Supporting all students socially/emotionally in order to reach their greatest potential Effective written and oral communication skills are required Responsibilities include: Leading school counseling social emotional programming & small group counseling/social groups Co-responds proactively and reactively to behavior with principal Co-facilitates the social/emotional universal teams Co-facilitates the targeted/intensive social/emotional teams Serves as a resource to staff and families in dealing with social/emotional concerns Serves as the PBiS coach Serves as the HHB and Title IX Investigator ● Any other assignment as requested by the administration to support the school and students
