Manufacturing Maintenance Technician - A-Shift

Job Summary:

A manufacturing maintenance technician is someone who performs regular preventive maintenance on equipment used in manufacturing process to ensure the successful execution of production activities.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

The maintenance technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production equipment with an overall objective of increasing business objectives. Performs all assigned work in a safe manner, upholding Environmental, Health and Safety Policy.

Required Skills/Abilities:

The following are key skills, knowledge, and abilities which maintenance technicians are required to have to be effective on the position:

• Knowledge of mechanical maintenance process
• Critical thinking ability to troubleshoot and detect malfunctioning
• Possess the discipline to execute tasks without procrastination
• Good time management to work at a good pace, executing word orders and demands
• Ability to handle basic tools
• Knowledge of safety precaution
• Good human relations to relate cordially with team members and workers

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma

3 years' experience troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing plastic injection molding machines and support equipment. Team oriented Self-motivated. Strong mechanical and electrical skills. Must have proven track record of maintaining Injection molding machines preferred.

Work Environment:

Manufacturing environment requiring appropriate eye protection.

Exposure to high noise level in the work environment requiring hearing protection.
