Assistant Teacher

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children and supporting their development in a nurturing environment. This role involves assisting the lead teacher in implementing curriculum, managing classroom behavior, and providing care for students with diverse needs, including those with disabilities. The Assistant Teacher will play a vital role in fostering an inclusive atmosphere that promotes learning and growth for all students.

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing engaging lesson plans that cater to various learning styles.
• Support children’s learning by providing individualized attention and encouragement.
• Help manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement and effective behavior management techniques.
• Foster an inclusive environment by working with students with disabilities and adapting activities to meet their needs.
• Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring their safety at all times.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and any concerns that may arise.
• Collaborate with the teaching team to create a positive learning environment that promotes early childhood education principles.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom space.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with children, parents, and staff members.
• Experience working with students who have diverse needs, including those requiring additional support.
