What are the responsibilities and job description for the Yard Associate position at Rock Bottom Stone Supply - Highland?
Rock Bottom Stone Supply, a partner of Heritage Landscape is seeking a full-time Yard Associate will focus on duties such as stocking the yard area, warehouse areas, shipping and receiving of products, loading/unloading trucks. The workweek is Monday through Friday, with an opportunity for overtime during the busy season.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Stocking, receiving, pulling, and staging all yard/warehouse products.
- Loading, unloading, and securing product for customers, delivery vehicles, and inbound trucks.
- Keeping yard area neat and organized.
- Operating Forklifts in outdoor environments.
- Focusing on safe work practices, such as wearing PPE, proper lifting techniques, etc., while performing daily duties and using company equipment.
- Other related duties as assigned such as receiving etc.
REQUIREMENTS
- Basic computer knowledge and Internet use
- Forklift experience helpful, not required
- Ability to lift 75 pounds; 50 pounds on a repetitive basis
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) is helpful, but not required
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
