Minimum Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in a combination of coaching/advising roles and leadership/operational responsibilities
- Superior classroom facilitation skills with a minimum of 2 years of experience in one or more of the following: leadership development, adult learning, blended learning and organizational development
- Ability to travel up to 25% of time
Candidates must have at least one of the following:
- Bachelor's and/or master's degrees in a related discipline, e.g., business administration, organizational performance/behavior or psychology
- Professional certification in coaching with expertise in leadership coaching/development
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 years of leadership experience
- Experience coaching executives and experience with performance consulting
- Certification in administering and facilitating Leadership Circle 360 assessment through the Full Circle Group
Job Summary
The Leadership Coach is responsible for assisting team leaders and directors through the execution of successfully leading teams and positively impacting the performance of the organization. This involves researching and analyzing business needs, building and maintaining strong working relationships with senior level leaders, and the development and delivery of leadership coaching. This position requires partnering and providing one-on-one support to individual leaders while supporting and challenging them to achieve high levels of success both personally and professionally. This is a highly visible position with interaction with all levels of leadership within the Rock Family of Companies.
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized one-on-one coaching sessions with leaders to close identified specific skill and/or behavioral gaps
- Develop action plans with leaders based on 360 feedback and developmental opportunities as identified by themselves and their leader
- Partner with leaders to assist them in achieving specified personal/professional goals
- Facilitate group/team coaching sessions to elevate the team and individual success levels
- Influence leaders at all levels, ensuring coaching techniques adhere to best practices, and maximize business impact
- Consult with all levels of management to translate business requirements into learning/coaching interventions
- Own and drive our internal assessments and the communication and development actions that follow
- Plan and facilitate coaching workshops, including classroom style, simulations and experiential group discussions, team exercises and social learning experiences both virtually and in person
- Collaborate with senior leaders within the organization to identify coaching needs within the business area
- Assess individual leadership development needs through surveys, interviews and focus groups with team members and leaders
- Manage reporting and metrics related to leadership development initiatives
