Landscaper

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Landscaper to join our team. As a Landscaper, you will be responsible for maintaining and beautifying residential and commercial properties by performing various landscaping tasks. You will work with a team to ensure that outdoor spaces are properly maintained, safe, and aesthetically pleasing. This position requires an eye for detail, physical stamina, and a passion for creating and maintaining beautiful landscapes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lawn Care and Maintenance: Mowing, trimming, and edging, and blowing.
• Planting and Gardening: Planting flowers, shrubs, trees, and other vegetation, as well as watering, pruning, and maintaining plant health.
• Soil and Mulch Management: Applying mulch, compost, and soil amendments to improve plant growth and maintain soil health..
• General Clean-Up: Removing leaves, debris, weeds, and dead plants from lawns, flower beds, and garden areas.
• Tool and Equipment Maintenance: Properly maintaining and cleaning landscaping tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Safety Compliance: Adhering to all safety standards and guidelines while operating machinery and performing manual tasks.
• Team Collaboration: Working as part of a team to complete large landscaping projects efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Proven experience in landscaping or a related field.
• Ability to operate landscaping tools and machinery, including lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and irrigation systems.
• Strong physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform manual labor for extended periods.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Basic knowledge of landscaping principles, including soil health, irrigation, and lawn care.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for working outdoors and creating beautiful landscapes.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and squat for extended periods.
• Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy loads (up to 50 lbs).
• Dexterity to operate small and large landscaping equipment.

Working Conditions:

• Outdoor environment with exposure to various weather conditions.
• May require early morning, evening, or weekend work depending on client needs.
• Work may involve exposure to dust, pollen, chemicals (fertilizers, pesticides), and other environmental factors.
• Travel to various job sites, which may require a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
