Job Title: Outreach Coordinator
Department: Outreach
Supervisor: Lead Pastor
Weekly Hours: 15-20 hours
Summary of the position:
Represent Rock Family Church in our community through partnerships with local CSPD, schools, and other community organizations. Organize outreach opportunities and events throughout the year to increase our community presence.
Experience and Knowledge Required:
- Experience working within the community
- Experience working with outside vendors and being a liaison
- 3 years of actively working/serving in ministry
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Initiative finding new community partners and assessing current partners
- Have a ministry minded heart towards others
- Maintain professional relationships with community partners (both current and potential)
- Work with lead pastor(s) on outreach opportunities/events
- Continue working with current community partners to fill needs
- Work with McKinney-Vento partners in multiple districts to support family’s needs
- Utilize volunteers (and build up team) to support events and community needs
