We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Youth Ministry Director/Pastor to lead and develop our thriving youth ministry. This role will involve creating a safe and engaging environment for our youth to grow in their faith and build meaningful relationships with each other and with Jesus. The Youth Ministry Director/Pastor will coordinate youth programs, including weekly gatherings, special events, retreats, and outreach opportunities tailored to middle school and high school students.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive youth ministry strategy that aligns with the church's mission and vision.
- Create a safe and welcoming environment for our youth to grow in their faith.
- Coordinate youth programs, including weekly gatherings, special events, retreats, and outreach opportunities.
- Recruit and equip a team of volunteers to support the youth ministry.
- Attend staff and leadership meetings regularly to stay informed and provide updates on the youth ministry.
Requirements
- Minimum of two years of experience leading a healthy and growing youth ministry.
- Committed to God, having a testimony of conversion to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and fulfilling the biblical standard of a church leader (Romans 10:9).
- Committed to the ministry of Jesus Christ through Rock Harbor Church to catch the W.A.V.E.
