Responsibilities

The Nurse Practitioner provides medical consultation, routine patient care, and follow-up, requiring population-specific competencies and adherence to National Patient Safety Goals. Responsibilities include:

• Conducting detailed patient assessments.
• Ordering laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures.
• Diagnosing health problems and planning interventions.
• Prescribing medications and treatments.
• Performing routine procedures like injections and wound care.
• Educating patients on treatments and medications.
  
  

This position reports to a supervising physician and may involve additional physical demands and exposure to infections. Applicants must have a Master's degree, current Oklahoma Nurse Practitioner license, BLS certification, and effective English communication skills.
